What Do I Need To Get My CPN?

     To make you CPN purchase as smooth as possible, below is a list of things you’ll need to get started.

     These items are necessary take full advantage credit benefits that your CPN can provide for you.

     Here’s the list of items you’ll need:

 

Alternate Mailing Address

     We recommend you using a trusted friend instead of family members that may make your old credit

     information easier to track. Make sure that the address hasn’t been used for any of your credit based

     transactions in the past. We NO LONGER recommend a UPS Mailing center some creditors will google the      address to see if it is residential.

 

     If possible an alternative address that has a different zip code than your current address.

 

     Make sure you can readily received mail from this location. This becomes important when receiving things

     like credit and debit cards. If possible have the resident(s) add your name to the mailbox.

 

 

     Avoid the following:

              Commercial addresses.

 

              Mail forwarding service like “Mail Boxes Etc” or “Pax Mail Centers of America”. Most of the credit

              bureau anti-fraud computer software programs will detect the address of most “Mail Box Rental                         Firms”

              in a given area.

 

             Mail boxes from the US Post Office. Under the “Freedom OF INFORMATION ACT” anyone can                        request

             the name and address of the holder for a total cost of one dollar.

 

Alternate Email Address

     We recommend you start a brand new email address, preferably a gmail account for reasons that will               become evident soon. This email is only to be used to apply for services using your CPN.

 

 

Alternate Phone Number

     Make sure that you use a number that isn’t associated with any past credit transactions. Tracfones or some        other type of pre paid phones are a good option.

        

         

          You can also use a Google Voice phone number. It’s a free service and all it requires is that

          you start it using a current gmail address. If you create an alternate email address with Google then you

          can use that to get the number

         

          Please note when people call this number they often hear, “Please wait while we try to reach the                       Google

          Voice subscriber”. That prompt could ruin the impression creditors/service providers have that you’re a

          financially stable and trustworthy person. We recommend you going into the settings to disable that

          prompt.
